Note From Kylie

October is election season for our 4-H Councils, harvest season for many of our 4-H families and stakeholders, and record book judging season for our extension staff. I hope you take the time to vote for council members who will help shape the direction of positive youth development in Nuckolls-Thayer 4-H programming for the next 2-4 years. And, good luck with harvest!

THAYER COUNTY FAIR FOLLOW UP

Livestock Booster Support Checks

All large animal exhibitors will shortly be receiving a letter in the mail. In this letter, the 2021 livestock booster process will be outlined. You will need to write your thank you(s) to the donor(s) listed on your sheet, return them to the Extension Office with a stamp on them, and collect your check.

Pick Up Your Cake Auction Checks ASAP

The 2021 Cake Auction was very successful. The 4-H Council raised in $6700.00. Half of these proceeds stay with the 4-H Council to facilitate events and activities. Half of these proceeds are returned to the 4-Hers who helped raise this money with their cakes.

Here's how it works:

The office has checks ready for each family who furnished a cake.

If you need to know who purchased your cake, call the office.

Please bring a stamped thank you to the office, ask for the pre-printed mailing label for your sponsor, and pick up your check.

Fair Items need to be picked up

We have a few items still lingering from the County or State Fair. Please come pick them up as soon as possible! If your name appears here, please come in at your earliest convenience:
