1. Public Domain and examples:
Isn’t protected by copyright laws anymore because it doesn’t apply.
Example: is Classic Literature.
2. Freeware and Examples
Freeware is copyrighted work that is work copy use give away for free.
Example: is itunes.
3. Shareware and Examples
Copyrighted work that you can use for free but only for a limited time.
Example: Microsoftword.
4. All Rights Reserved and Examples
Only allows the users to use the software according to the details of the software.
Example: Microsoft OS
5. Open Source and Examples
Open source is software that includes the source code with the idea that someone can improve it.
Example: Google Chrome and Firefox allow user to change the code and add cool addons. Safari and Internet explorer cannot do this because the are not open source.
