Week 30 - 4/3/2020
Week 30 - Happy Staycation Spring Break!
Upon our return on April 14, teachers will continue to be available every day for 2 hours. These "office hours" will be a time for socializing, checking in, and receiving help on assignments through Canvas. We will continue providing learning opportunities!
The file attached is the MPCS Continuous Learning Plan. Please review it for additional details for all schools, including the middle school. Additional information regarding grading will come out through Dr. McDade and the mpark.net website at a later time.
If you would like to see up to date grades for third quarter (there have been no new grades added after March 13) check your student's PowerSchool Parent Portal! Students can still make up missing work from quarter 3 - make sure they have the best possible grade for quarter 3!
Lastly, take care of each other. As the suess-inspired meme above says, "just do your best and do not worry about the rest." We're all in this together, and we will all work to make the best of everything.
We return on Tuesday, April 14! See you on Canvas then!

MPCS Food Services Continue! Change - Tuesdays ONLY
The MPCS School Nutrition Program is providing prepackaged grab-and-go meals at no charge to all children ages 18 and under on Tuesdays at the main entrance of Manassas Park High School between 4 and 6 pm. Please note this is a location change from in front of the Middle School to the High School.
In order to minimize the number of times parents must bring their children to the distribution site, a weekly set of prepackaged breakfasts and lunches will be provided on Tuesdays. All meals will be the same regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Safe social distancing practices will be in effect. As the meal distributions will be set up as a grab-and-go, attendees should follow volunteer direction to ensure safe vehicle traffic and open vehicle trunks for expedited delivery.
