Harper's Corner Donates to Thomas

On Friday, the Thomas Library and Megan Russell, Library Media Specialist, received a donation of 150 books for the Thomas Library from Julia, Harper's Corner Founder. Harper's Corner is a nonprofit organization with a mission to build awareness and education around diversity and inclusion by donating age-appropriate children's books to community elementary schools and libraries. See their website for further information. We are thankful to receive such a generous donation. One of our building goals has been to foster a robust book collection of literature which recognizes and honors our community. We believe students should have access to texts that reflect their lives because they mater:-)

Thank you, Harper's Corner!
