Law Day Contest
We are pleased to announce that the Houston Bar Association is again conducting a poster contest in connection with Law Day, an annual event celebrating democracy and citizenship in the United States. This year’s Law Day theme, “Your Vote, Your Voice, Our Democracy: The 19th Amendment at 100”, calls on students to respond to the following prompt regarding women’s right to vote: “Depict the impact the 19th Amendment has had on our society, culture and democracy.” The Poster Contest is open to Kindergarten through 8th Grade with prizes in 3 categories: k-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th grades.
View the contest information online at https://hba.org/docdownload/1513716 or refer to the packet mailed to your school.
