Location
Relative Location: It is in the pacific ocean, because it is an island it is surrounded by all water. It is east of North and South Korea and China.
Human and Environment Interaction
Modify: They modify their land for their farming, especially in the rice fields.
Depend: They depend on the environment for their crops which include rice, vegetables, fruit, etc. They depend on the oceans to import and export things.
Place
Physical: There are four main islands Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku. They experience all four seasons. Since there is such limited land they build up their cities instead of building out.
Movement
Ideas: They have a up to date communication system, most people have cell phones and are regular internet users. There is some censorship by the government but not a lot.
People: They have a highly developed train system called bullet trains, and that is the main way of transportation. Some have private cars but the cities are very busy. Japan only has 5 international airports.
