Message from the Principal
We hope that our students had fun learning this past Friday spending time exploring our choice boards. This Tuesday students will spend time in their classrooms discussing their experience and sharing what learning they chose to engage in. We hope that students enjoyed choosing learning opportunities that sparked their individual interest.
Thank you to all of our families who supported our PTA Raising Cane's fundraiser last week! We hope that you were able to enjoy dinner while supporting our school. PTA is sponsoring two family bingo nights in March! Be sure to read more about this event in this week's newsletter and mark down the date on your calendar.
I hope that your family enjoyed this long weekend and that maybe you even got outdoors! The sunshine and warmer weather is so refreshing after all of the snow we've had. Wishing your family a wonderful week!

STAND UP IN STRONGSVILLE LLS Fundraiser
Strongsville Families,
I am beyond excited to announce that Strongsville is participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS), “Students of the Year” campaign for 2022. I was nominated to lead this challenge by my high school Athletic Director and the Principal of my high school. I feel honored and so grateful to be a part of this amazing fundraising experience with LLS! I have put together a team of support to help raise money and awareness for this great cause – to bring an end to cancer!
Our Team name is “Stand Up In Strongsville”. Student of the Year program is a 7 week challenge between other high school students in surrounding cities in Northern Ohio to raise the most amount of money for a great cause – Finding a cure for cancer! Our competition ends on March 19th, 2022. During this 7 week challenge, my team and I are determined to reach our goal of $60,000 and raise even more! (All donations are tax deductible! Tax ID #13-5644915). Please help us reach our team goal of $60,000 and fight with us against cancer!

WHEN SHOULD YOU KEEP YOUR CHILD HOME FROM SCHOOL?
PLEASE DO YOUR PART. IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT FEELING WELL, KEEP THEM HOME and CONTACT THE SCHOOL.
In order to do your part in preventing the spread of germs, it is imperative that we are frequently doing symptom checks of our children at home. If your child is displaying any of the following symptoms, please keep them home and inform our front office. We will work to ensure that your child stays up to date with assignments and the teaching taking place in the classroom:
- A fever of 100 degrees or higher. This is one of the strongest Covid Symptoms
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Persistent cough or runny nose
- Loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
We need you to assist in helping us, by monitoring for these symptoms on a daily basis, and keeping your child home if they aren't feeling well.
