Great Kindness Challenge

The Great Kindness Challenge was kicked off this Monday at our assembly. We are encouraging students to do kind things for their friends and other students and teachers in the building. We have provided students with a list of ideas that will hopefully inspire them to step out and be kind.

Ask your student what they have done to earn a heart this week. We are building a tree full of heart leaves. The leaves represent an act of kindness that students have shown to another person in our building.

Presidents Day

We will have school on Presidents Day. It was designated as a snow make up day on the school calendar.

Make plans to be at WS on 2-15-16.

Adventure Club

Adventure Club started back this week. It has been a great week so far.

Club days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday is each week. Our last session is February 25th.

Buses and car riders are dismissed at 5:00. Please be on time for pickup if your child is a car rider.

Lunch Charges in Cafeteria

Please help us by keeping your lunch accounts current. You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's name and their teacher's name.

You can also take advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch. Pre-K button is below.

Cell Phones Prohibited in Car Lines

Cell phones are prohibited in our car lines.

  • Act 27-51-1609 states “…a driver of a motor vehicle shall not use a handheld wireless telephone while operating a motor vehicle when passing a school building or school zone during hours when children are present and outside the building.”

Help us keep kids safe by not using your phone in the school area.
