Update on New State Mandates
Teachers have implemented mask breaks throughout the day to give the students an opportunity to take their masks off. Kudos to our staff and students who have transitioned to this new requirement. We understand that this change is difficult for some, but we are thrilled to still be able to meet with our students every day, face to face.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mrs. Andersen or Mrs. Kranz.

Distance Learning While in Quarantine/Isolation
Your child's teacher will gather homework and supplies and you will be notified when their things are ready to be picked up. A chromebook will be available for you to borrow if you do not have a device at home. Typically, your child will be ready to join online the following day. Teachers will also provide you with a daily schedule and the link to join the class over ZOOM.
Your child will be expected to attend ZOOM classes much like they would a regular school day. If your child is unable to attend a ZOOM session for any reason, please contact the school office. Music and PE assignments will be posted on Miss Gunderson and Mr. Kasper's website. Their websites can be found by visiting the United #7 school website. https://www.dbhs.united.k12.nd.us (Due to the larger number of distance learners, we will no longer be using ZOOM for music classes.)
If your child is distance learning for several weeks, each Friday afternoon will be pick up day. Please make arrangements to pick up your child's new assignments and drop off completed work. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call the elementary office.
Star Lakers for October
Congratulations to our Star Lakers for the month of October. These students were chosen by their teachers for demonstrating respect. Each student received a t-shirt, their picture was placed on display and they get to have lunch with a friend on Wednesdays.
