Easter
Easter is the time of year when Christians celebrate Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, they believe it is from Passover (or Pesach in Hebrew), the Jewish festival celebrating the ancient Israelites’ migration from slavery in Egypt. Pascha eventually came to mean Easter. Anyone who falls under the category of Christian will celebrate this holiday, usually with a church service, egg hunts and chocolate bunnies. Floral arrangements usually contain pastel colors to match the holiday and can range in price, it all depends on how nice the arrangement is.
Arrangements made with egg cartons, candy or Easter baskets are common.
Daisy's and Tulips are extremely common in Easter arrangements because they come in the desired colors.
Arrangements are usually spherical or use line flowers which lead to the base of a arrangement.
More common flowers that are available in spring when Easter occurs are Peony, Calla Lily and Hydrangea.
Often bunnies are made out of candy or flowers and are part of the arrangement.
Dainty glass containers are often used.
Valentines Day
Valentine was thought to be a priest in third century Rome that continued to marry young men to their soulmates, even though the emperor believed single men made better soldiers. This day is supposed to be named after him and continue to celebrate romance. It is mainly celebrated in the US and Europe but some people in varying countries still buy chocolate and roses and celebrate the day with someone they love.
Sometimes pink roses or carnations will be added but almost always the main flower will be red roses.
Roses are in high demand this time of year so they can be difficult to get and expensive.
Modern, square arrangements are common now and roses are the perfect flowers to fill them.
Succulents are becoming more and more popular so now they are being used to make floral arrangements that fit certain holidays
A red vase is common because the color surrounding the holiday are red and different shades of pink.
Often a heart will be made out of part of the arrangement to match the holidays theme of love.
Christmas
This holiday was started to celebrate Jesus's birthday and it celebrated by Christians worldwide.
