Forms
WorkKeys: When you finish testing, have a hallway monitor cover your class and return materials to me in B122. If you don't see a hallway monitor, text Jen's phone with the room number and the message "Done" and we will send someone to your room. After the materials have been checked in, return back to supervise your room and let the hallway monitor go to another room.
Don't leave materials unsupervised.
2nd time piece required for WorkKeys
Phones
If a phone goes off, it's likely an irregularity. Keep student working and call me. I'll take care of it.
Please power your phone off as well. If you need me after the test has begun, please have a hallway monitor cover your room and call me from your now powered on cell phone or a conference room phone.
Please remind them often and repeatedly, no phones. If there is one, give it to a hallway monitor to take to counseling after it's powered off.
Breaks
Student Needs
Cold: If a student is cold and wants an additional layer of clothes and insists, they need to be escorted to their locker to get the sweatshirt, coat, etc. Use a hallway monitor for this. They cannot go alone. The pockets of the coat need to be verified empty. And nothing should be put in the locker at this time.
Last minute bubbling: Please remind students that they are given a 5 minute warning when time will be called. This would be the time to consider randomly filling in/guessing on any remaining questions. They only have the time on that part of the test to do this.
Snack and Water
Snack on day 1 - 2-3 in hallway at a time to consume, or front of classroom if space permitted away from testing material.
Day 2 testing - Most kids shouldn't need a snack. If needed, out in hallway only.
Desk Cards
Monitoring - in addition to what's in the manual
Do not work on anything else
Power your phone off as well
Monitor that students are writing answers in the correct sections on the answer sheet, not just in test book, and not working ahead.
If you suspect an irregularity happened...
Turn to your manual under irregularity and read on the next steps.
We don't have enough irregularity forms for everyone. Please call if you need one.
