1) He was born in Portugal
2) He served in the United States Navy
3) He as been a police officer for 26 years. He served with the New Bedford Police Department for 23 years. 18 of those years as a detective in the Juvenile Unit.
4) He cycles from Northern NJ to Washington DC every May with the Police Unit Tour
5) He is a scratch golfer: (always scratching his head after a shot)!

On the Wednesday before break, Ms. Whalen's 7th and 8th grade students had a blast building STEM catapults on Zoom. They used them to launch marshmallows into hot chocolate!

A REMINDER FOR JUNIORS
As Semester 1 winds down, a reminder that for those taking History Semester 1, 15 of the required 25 hours will be due and contribute to a project grade. All Juniors are strongly encouraged to complete the 25 hours by year's end.

ESports Spring Season Sign-up Meeting
Calling all ESporters! The Spring Season is upon us and we’re looking to build off our successful fall season with some exciting new opportunities. This Spring we will be competing in League of Legends, Rocket League AND Super Smash Brothers Ultimate! Come on out to test your gaming skills against teams from across the state and have a ton of fun! The Spring Season Sign Up Meeting will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday January 12th on Zoom. Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) Club Sign Up Announcement
The Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) Pathway is excited to announce the launch of our new MET Club for the Spring semester! Join us on Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:00pm starting in February to take part in a number of hands-on design projects. We’ll be exploring alternative energy technologies and robotics to solve problems using the engineering design process. This is also a great chance to learn more about the courses in our new MET Pathway and develop your skills as a designer and maker of things!
