From the Principal...
Hello Seton Community,
I am excited to announce that registration for the 2021-2022 school year is officially underway. Your registration forms are in your Friday folder and can also be found at http://www.sheboyganseton.org/prospective_families/registration/. Please read through them, fill them out, and send them back to school by April 9, 2021 to receive the early registration discount and to ensure your child’s spot if there should be a waiting list at his or her grade level. It is also important that you follow the date requirements listed on the forms for financial aid.
On November 18, 2020 the Seton School Board approved maintaining the 2020-21 tuition for this coming year. That means that all tuition amounts will stay the same with no increases.
The cost to educate each child at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is roughly $8,550. What isn’t covered by tuition dollars must be made up through financial aid grants, Parish subsidies, and fundraising. Therefore, timely action on your part helps us to ensure that our expenses can be covered for the school year. If your child is entering grades 4K, K, or 1 we strongly encourage you to apply for the Wisconsin School Choice Program at https://dpi.wi.gov/sms/choice-programs/student-applications BEFORE applying for other financial aid. If you qualify your child will receive free, rather than discounted, tuition. This also frees up more financial aid dollars for families whose children do not fall into the School Choice window. Even if you have never applied for financial aid in the past, please consider applying if recent circumstances create a financial burden for your family. We are happy to assist you with any financial aid applications.
One of the critical pieces for every family is registration in the FACTS system. Whether you pay in full, make payments, or receive aid it is important that every Seton School family registers. We need to use the payment information in the FACTS system to track our tuition income and to stay in compliance with financial regulations. This should be done as early as possible. Assistance with this process is also available in the office. We ask that everyone is registered in FACTS before June 1, 2021. Without a family FACTS registration, your child’s school registration will not be accepted.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.

2020 Annual Fund Drive
We are truly overcome with gratitude for the amazing generosity we have experienced from our supporters. We are an incredibly blessed school community. Thank you to all who have donated to our 2020 Annual Fund Drive. With many generous donations, we have raised a total of $114,521.15 and well exceeded our goal of $30,000. Every dollar helps to support Catholic education at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Thank you.
$10,000 Raffle is Back!
We are excited to share that St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School will once again be having our $10,000 Raffle. Each full ticket costs $100, but the ticket may be sold in parts. To win the full $10,000 prize, you must hold the full ticket drawn on March 20. Each of the quarter tickets are worth $2,500 and may be split among different people.
This year we have added two additional drawings. On January 20 at 1pm and February 19 at 1pm we will draw one ticket. Those winners will receive $100 and the ticket will be placed back into the drawing for $10,000 on March 20 at 8pm on Facebook Live. Get your tickets soon to take advantage of these early drawings.
Tickets can be purchased from any Seton family or in the Seton School Office. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
Seton Faith Development Committee
This school year, the committee would like to begin work on the following three goals as determined by our Seton School Board.
1. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will develop a comprehensive plan for faculty faith formation that includes at least one annual opportunity for retreat and and one annual opportunity for service by the end of the 2020-2021 academic year to begin in the 2021-2022 academic year.
2. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will develop a plan for at least one student-led Mass at each of our three Northside Parishes to begin in the spring of 2021. (May need to be delayed until the fall of 2021.)
3. With the assistance of our Faith Development Committee we will explore at least three options for parent faith formation to begin in the 2021-2022 academic year.
If you are interested in joining this good work or would like more information, please contact Dr. Nardi at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Updated Sheboygan North Catholic Parishes Wish List
You may have heard in the news that the CDC has released options to reduce the length of COVID-19 quarantines. I have attached the Sheboygan County Recommendations for your review. Seton Catholic will be using those recommendations as listed below. We will maintain a 14 day quarantine as we are in a setting with many people and the potential for spread. Please be diligent with safety precautions as we are hoping to stay face to face for your children.
14 day no symptoms, no test option:
This is a 14-day quarantine from Seton School. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or the day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school without a doctor note after 14 days and if he/she has no symptoms. These days will be tracked in the office.
7 day no symptoms, negative test option:
Quarantine can end after day 7 of quarantine with a negative test and no symptoms if the test was taken no sooner than day 6 of the quarantine. The quarantine begins with the start of symptoms or day of last contact with a positive case. The student can return to school with a dated confirmation of a negative test and no symptoms. The days will be tracked in the school office.
Please note that household contacts are handled differently as noted on the recommendations below.
