Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds

Look forward to the 2022 Fall Festival October 7th - 15th from 10am-7pm at Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. With its mild temperatures and beautiful scenery there is no better place to be than the North Georgia Mountains in the fall!

Each October, the 9-day event features Arts & Craft vendors, educational demonstrations, and exciting music performances!

New for 2022 enjoy carnival rides from Midway Rides Unlimited! Enjoy over a dozen rides including a carosel, ferris wheel, bumper cars & more! Rides for the adults & the kiddos! Plus fair food, games, and more!

Andrews, NC Trunk or Treat is happening on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Main Street in Downtown.

Halloween in Murphy, NC

Trick or Treat

Downtown Murphy will be hosting a "Trick or Treat" Fest on Monday, October 31st. Area businesses will be handing out treats all over the downtown square. Bring the kids for a fun and safe Halloween and be sure to dress up! If you are interested in representing your business or organization for this event please complete this FORM.

Welcome Fall with classes and demonstrations at Olive's Porch.


Olive’s Porch is a Folk School experience in downtown Murphy, North Carolina. The location at 27 Peachtree Street features classroom space, a retail shop showcasing the work of Appalachian artists, and a studio space dedicated to the Artist in Residence program. Named after the Folk School’s co-founder Olive Dame Campbell, Olive’s Porch offers Community Workshops focused on traditional Appalachian crafts, music, dance, and community events and demonstrations designed for locals and visitors.

children of Cherokee County.


Saturday, October 22 12n-6p Nottely River Vineyards Fundraiser. Purchase

delicious food from The Ark Food Truck and amazing wine and enjoy the

afternoon at this beautiful vineyard. Bring an unwrapped toy for ages 0-teen or

make a cash donation. 1150 Old Culberson Road, Murphy


Saturday, October 29 Volunteers will be collecting donations, money and toys

from 10am-4pm outside of Walmart in Murphy.
