This year, we have helped 3rd graders with Wordles and Vokis; 2nd graders with Puppet Pals; EAGLES with Fotobabble and more! Not sure what these tools are? Just ask!

4th grade LUNCH BUNCH! Coming soon!

During the week of October 22, 15 4th graders will have the opportunity to listen to a book during lunch with Mrs. Byrd Fort. I will share more information about this program with students soon! Watch for more LUNCH BUNCH opportunities for other grade levels throughout the year!

About us!

The Vision and Mission of the New Providence Elementary School Learning Commons is to ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information in regards to both print and online resources. We strive to provide library media materials and services appropriate to the curriculum of the school and to provide library media materials and services that meet the information and recreational needs of the learning community and that will encourage the 4 C's - Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Creativity, and Communication. We provide opportunities for collaboration between the Learning Commons Specialist, the Technology Integration Specialist, and the Classroom Teacher to integrate information literacy and technology into instruction.
