OPES Unity Day- October 4th!!!
October is Bullying Prevention Month! To kickstart this month, we will celebrate OPES Unity Day on Monday, October 4th. This will be our first "No Place For Hate" school activity. All OPES students and staff are encouraged to wear orange to show unity for kindness, acceptance and inclusion and to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying. Students will talk more about Unity Day during their morning meetings in their classroom. We will also be creating a OPES Unity Chain. Each student will create a link for the chain. The chain will be displayed in our atrium. I will put pictures of Unity Day and of our chain in the November Counselor Connection
