Norma Jeane was born June 1, 1926. She was in and out of foster care, at 16 she started modeling which led to her stage name Marilyn Monroe. Monroe was a stunning movie actress and model known for a sexy photos and her dumb blonde roles. Monroe was found dead in her Brentwood, Los Angeles home August 5th, 1962 of an barbiturate overdose.
Accidental? or Suicide?
Marilyn Monroe was reported to have many accidental over dose, and that her last ended her life. "Monroe’s death wasn’t the first time she had overdosed." The media also, portrayed her as suicidal. Monroe was depressed and on anti-depressants for long periods of time. People made it to be believed that she "had enough."
Monroe was a huge sex-symbol in the 50's and 60's. She was married three times, and accused to have many affairs. One affair particularly to be with the then President John F. Kennedy, and his brother Robert Kennedy. She was allegedly going to "expose" the Kennedy's before her death. The media portrayed that the Kennedy's murdered Marilyn Monroe or had her murdered.
Marilyn Monroe's death was more of all of the sudden thing. No one knew she was sick or depressed, only people close to her. The media ran with what they had, and portrayed it to be all of the Kennedy's fault. Everyone looked at Marilyn as a sweetheart and that suicide was out of the question. Monroe's psychiatrist was also, the Kennedy's psychiatrist.
Marilyn Monroe is the original Kim Kardashian. People love her, but also people hated her. She was bullied, and was told she had no morals. That could have easily gotten to her, and why she would want to end her life. The media criticized her for her promiscuous pictures, and posing for Play Boy.
