See you TOMORROW MORNING at the School Showcase Fair! The NLRSD has some amazing campuses. At the NLRSD School Showcase Fair, our building leaders will be "showing off" their schools.


You'll get an opportunity to learn about what each school offers. Don't come alone! Bring a family member or friend whose students attend school in another district.

Sixth Grader Gets Second in County Spelling Bee


Congratulations to Cooper Wooldridge, a sixth grader at North Little Rock Middle School, for winning second place in the Pulaski County Spelling Bee! Cooper represented the Sixth Grade Campus at the Spelling Bee after winning the competition among his classmates last fall. Should the first place winner be unable to compete, Cooper would be asked to participate in the Arkansas State Spelling Bee.

Varsity Cheer Gets National Nod; Spirit Group Parent Informational Planned

Congratulations to NLR Varsity Cheer on winning 4th place in the NCA High School Nationals competition in Dallas last weekend. They competed in the Advanced Small Varsity Crowd Performance category.

Back in December, they won the state cheer championship for the third year in a row!

Is your child, who is an upcoming seventh through twelfth grader, interested in joining the spirit groups at the middle and high school next year? Please make plans to attend the mandatory Parent Meeting on February 2, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. Please see the flyer below for additional information.

COE Senior Earns OSHA Certification

Congratulations to Alex Rojas, a senior at the Center of Excellence, for earning the OSHA 10 certification! Entry-level workers with this credential have industry-specific knowledge and skills that help prevent injuries and keep workplaces safe and productive. His teacher, Mr. Graham, is pictured with him.

Attendance Matters

Regular school attendance is essential to a student's success!


According to the National Center for Education Statistics, students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance. This relationship between attendance and achievement may appear early in a child's school career.
