Can't you hear?
Parry Sound Is Calling!
Orr My Story, by Bobby Orr.
"I suppose Parry Sound was the same kind of town you would find all across Canada at that time. By that I mean it was a safe place, generally very quiet, and a great place to be a kid."
Parry Sound
Bobby Orr grew up in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. Nestled on the east coast of the Gregorian Bay. Parry Sound is only a couple hours away from Toronto, home to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Bobby Orr had many experiences in Parry Sound, including fishing, and playing hockey. In Parry Sound there is a lot of water around the town. That means good places to go fishing, swimming, or if it is frozen over, you can go ice skating! With all the woods around, you could go camping, hunting, or just explore. In Parry Sound there is a Bobby Orr hall of fame, dedicated to all of Bobby's experiences with hockey. You can learn what inspired him and pushed him to inspire others. Parry Sound is also a very friendly place to visit. Everyone there knows each other, and they look out for each other. If you go to Parry Sound during the summer, there are other tourists, it is warm, and there are many islands just off the coast to visit. It wont be hard to travel to Parry Sound. There are a couple sets of train tracks that run right next to the town. In the town there are family bakeries and shops, for if you are in the mood for a snack or just a good meal. Bobby Orr loved his home town very much, he said in his book ,"I suppose Parry Sound was the same kind of town you would find all across Canada at that time. By that i mean it was a safe place, generally very quiet, and a great place to be a kid." he had great experiences there, and you can too. It also shows Parry Sound is safe and comfortable. This is why I included this particular quote from the book. My slogan is a pun. It is asking if you can hear, because Parry Sound has the word sound in it. I am saying that that it is calling as if there is actually something that you can hear. Parry Sound is a great place, and you and your family should go and visit it!
