Manitou Springs High School
December 9th, 2022
From The Principal
It is hard to believe that we are already approaching the end of Semester One! As we head into our last two days of class next week followed by finals 12/14-12/16, both students and staff are working hard to finish strong! Classrooms have been alive with review games, students editing work based on individualized feedback, and clarifying content through collaboration with staff and peers.
It is our goal to work in partnership with all stakeholders, so as always, please reach out to our teachers, counselors, support staff, or administrators with any questions, concerns, or celebrations. I am so proud of our student body as they have progressed through the school year thus far with the support of our staff. Also, please congratulate our Cheerleading team for competing in State today as well as Annie Riggins for qualifying for All-State Choir!
Have a wonderful last weekend of the semester and good luck with your finals Mustangs!

Principal Input Survey
Manitou Springs High School Principal Input Survey
It has been a wonderful week hosting meetings to gather input and feedback for the 2023-24 Manitou Springs High School Principal position. Staff, student, and parent input is incredibly important as it will guide the process and support the decision to find the right leader for Manitou Springs High School. If you did not get an opportunity to attend a feedback session, we would love to hear from you!
A current District 14 parent shared, “There is an excellent process underway to prioritize what qualities we want in our new High School Principal. I was at our parent meeting last night and came away with a renewed sense of hope and excitement for finding the right leader and Principal for Manitou Springs High School. Your voice matters and will be heard!”
Please take a few minutes to provide input on what you would like to see in the future principal of Manitou Springs High School. Survey will be open December 9-December 12 at noon.

Connect 14...
Connect14 registration is now open for the Spring semester. Please feel free to view the classes to start planning out your Spring Connect 14 opportunities!

From the PAC...
6-12 PAC has purchased treat boxes to give our teachers and staff at MSMS, MSHS, and SILC for the Holidays, and we need YOUR help filling them so they will have a sweet treat to take home.
If you are able, please bring 2 to 4 dozen cookies, small baked goods, tiny muffins, small candies, chocolates, etc. to your school's office, on Wednesday December 14, 2022 when your student arrives for classes. These can be your family's favorite home baked item or store purchased. We are also looking for a few volunteers to bring Gluten Free and Vegan selections for staff who have dietary needs.
