history of new era
In 1920 Ehrhardt Koch borrowed 1000 dollars from his sister and a coworker. At first it was called E. Koch Cap Co. It was then changed to New Era in 1922. The first New Era baseball cap was produced in 1934 for the Cleveland Indians. Adjustable caps made their debut in the 1940s. In 1993 all MLB teams were wearing new era caps on the field. They are still in business till this day.
