The Panther Pride
Pleasant Run Elementary School
January 18, 2019
Dear Pleasant Run Families:
We had an extremely busy week of learning here at Pleasant Run. Our students worked hard on accomplishing their NWEA tests and they did an amazing job! Your students will be bringing their results home, next Friday.
In order to recognize the growth our students have made, students will have some out of dress code opportunities throughout the next couple of weeks. Please watch for additional information.
We all have ideas, opinions and dreams. Be determined, like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to keep your dreams alive and his. Every day is what you make it. Make it a great one today!
Thank you for your continued support of your child and our school - we appreciate you! Please contact me at 532-3803 if you have any further questions.

Joining the PTA allows you to meet some great people. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone.
The mission of the Pleasant Run Elementary PTA is to act in the interest of the children, to encourage understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to promote programs that benefit the success of children’s learning. The Pleasant Run PTA supports education through active participation and advocacy.
Pleasant Run Elementary has a very active and supportive PTA. We sponsor many fun events throughout the school year. We also provide volunteers for many school events as well as provide support for school programs such as Super Reader, Breakfast with Santa and the annual fund raiser. Please join us for a PTA meeting to see what we’re all about.
