Summary

Joseph Fourier was originally trained for priesthood decided to take a different route. Fourier is a famous mathematician and physicist. Fourier us known for many things, but one of the things he's most known for is showing how the conduction of heat in solid bodies could be analyzed in terms of infinite mathematical series, which is fondly called the "Fourier Series". Fourier also discovered heat transfer and vibrations with the "Fourier Series." Fourier is also credited with first accurate theory on heat diffusion, and also credited with the discovery of the greenhouse effect. Joseph Fourier made many contributions to science that are still in use today.
