Annual CAST Membership Meeting
Wednesday, September 14 at 6:30 p.m.
Dear Supporter of the Arts,
We have had an amazing year at CAST! Under the leadership of a newly elected board last September, and with the dedication of countless volunteers, we have been able to rejuvenate our hometown arts center, and participate in the revitalization of our downtown community.
In you are not already aware, the mission of the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre, Inc. (CAST) is to foster the promotion of community interest in theatre, music, art, dance, photography, and theatrical productions for education, civic, and benevolent purposes. We need your enthusiasm and continued support, to bring high quality opportunities to our area. We are proud to say that we have fulfilled our mission this past year, and we plan to do so for years to come.
Many opportunities that were already in place, such as our regular season productions, Friday Night Live, and music series, have seen growth and success.
Programs that had been lost, like the CAST Youth Show Choir (now named High Voltage),
Clearfield Choral Society, and a youth summer camp have been reborn, stronger than ever.
New programs, such as the creative writing workshops, reader’s theatre performances, and various classes, are rapidly growing, and succeeding.
If you are interested in being part of the continued success of CAST, we ask that you become a member, and join us at the annual membership meeting of CAST on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.
Becoming a CAST Member will:
- include voting rights for new board members (members must be present at the membership meeting to vote),
- support our regular programs,
- help us develop other opportunities throughout the year, and
- grant access to all communications.
To become a member, please complete and return the form, along with a check written to CAST, using the information provided. The form and letter can be downloaded HERE.
If you are interested in running for any of the vacant board seats, or wish to nominate someone to fill the seat, please contact CAST no later than Wednesday, September 7, 2016. All board members must be members of CAST.
