December 16 Community Newsletter
Hello Parents and Guardians,
The month of December is always full of activities and a bit hectic with all of the goings-on here in school; this year is no different. We officially have one more week until winter break.
This week we hosted a 4mycity.us fresh produce distribution with Nakobe Dean of the Philadelphia Eagles, Barrett Brooks of NBC Sports, Commissioner Jim Jefferson, Woodbury Board Members & Staff, Football, Band, and Cheer. After the food distribution we honored our senior Band, Cheer, and Football Members and our State Champion winning Football and Band.
Huge shout out to Sarah Johnston and the Choir who sang “Happy Birthday” to Nakobe Dean after he spoke to our students.
Thank you to our athletic trainer Melody Arno for coordinating with Gatorade to host our first “Gatorade Experience” for student athletes.
Great job by all performers in this week's Winter Concert! Mrs. Johnson and Ms. Morton did an excellent job with the concert and our students performed extremely well.
On Monday, Junior High students that received honor roll and principal's list will receive a sweet treat during advisory in the library. High School students that received honor roll and principal's list will receive a sweet treat in the library for this amazing accomplishment on Wednesday.
Thank you and Go HERD!
Principal Taylor
