Closure Update
You may have heard that the Governor has extended the "Stay-At-Home" order until the end of April. We care very deeply for the safety of every family member of the River Valley District Library, and will not risk anyone’s life. The Library Board announced Monday night that the library will remain closed until the "Stay-At-Home" order is lifted.
What does this mean for us?
The library will continue to be a source of education, information, and entertainment for our community. Our online branch has been and continues to be open 24/7. You have this access at our website, www.rivervalleylibrary.org and our Social Media offerings, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. Please check these platforms to see how your library family is working diligently to make sure we care for you from afar!! Even though we are not able to do this in the normal of the past, we are committed to learning how we can care for you while not putting anyone at risk. Check it out—pun intended! It is so important that you send us your feedback, send us emails, phone messages and comment socially. We can only do this together; we will come through this better and stronger.
We are the Resilient River Valley District Library family!!!
Stay calm and safe,
Teri Schwenneker and your entire River Valley family.
Happy April Fool's Day! How are you and your family celebrating? Share it with us on Facebook and Instagram!
