SCHOOL T-SHIRT UPDATE FROM OUR PTA

Reading Elementary Families -

We have had some hiccups with the t-shirt orders this year because of supply chain issues. We have had to go with a different shirt and different color. We are pushing to distribute the t-shirts before the students get out for Thanksgiving break, but we are not sure how realistic that is with all of the problems we have had so far! The new shirt that will be ordered and sent to students is pictured below. We want to let families know there have been changes, and why. We will provide additional information if this new plan changes. Thank you!

SUBSTITUTES NEEDED ACROSS THE DISTRICT

Davis District is experiencing challenges finding substitutes for a variety of positions across the county, and Reading Elementary is no exception. We have an immediate need for people to sub in our school library for Mrs. Ewell. Because this job requires some special training to access the book circulation check-in and check-out system, it is best to contact Mrs. Ewell directly at kewell@dsdmail.net and let her know of your interest in helping. You can apply for most substitute positions at the district employment website: https://dsdjobs.net/home

If you want to sub for classified positions such as the library, teacher assistants, or to cover in our special classes like Art or Music, please contact the school. There is a special request we have to make first, then you will be connected to the correct technician in the Human Resources Dept. Thank you for your interest in helping at the school. We love our parents, volunteers and substitutes!
