Johnson Jaguars
Your Weekly Update from Johnson Elementary School
REMINDER: Wednesday, FEBRUARY, 8th
Things You Need to Know!
1 - ALL SCHOOL PAJAMA DAY! Thank you Johnson Jaguars for decorating some pretty PAWSOME PAW PRINTS! You have earned an all school Pajama Day on Wednesday, February 8th!
2 - THE COLD WINTER WEATHER IS HERE! Please make sure your children are dressed appropriately for these cold days. In addition, remind your children to check the lost and found if they have left something behind.
3 - LABEL, LABEL, LABEL
A lot of our Jaguars leave things behind each day. This is a friendly reminder to label all belongings that you send to school with your students. If items are labeled, we can return them to their rightful owners. Grab a sharpie and write your student's name on items (gloves, hats, coats, boots, water bottles, etc.).
4 - FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
We have a range of financial supports available in the Natick Public Schools. This includes assistance with school fees, such as the bus and picture day, scholarships for programs such as the Book Fair and connections to community resources that may be helpful. If you are interested in these programs, please contact Laura Loftus, our school counselors, to have a private conversation. Her email is lloftus@natickps.org.
Principal's Message
Dear Johnson Families,
Yesterday, several of our students interested in studying about the weather reported that the “Ground Hog-Punxsutawney Phil” spied his shadow. According to the folklore, if Phil sees his shadow and then retreats back to his burrow, we can expect six more weeks of wintry weather. So, do not put your winter wardrobe and gear away yet.
We hope that all of you were able to open and review your student’s Mid-Year Report of Student Progress (ROSP) in PowerSchool. If you had difficulty opening the link, please email our PowerSchool Support Team at pssupport@natickps.org. Below is the link for the Mid-Year Progress Reports for your convenience. The ROSP Portal will be open until end of day on February 28th.
Here are diretions to help you access this report
Best regards,
John
