Interim Report Cards to be Issued in Printed and Digital Formats
This year, 3rd quarter interim report cards will be delivered to parents in two ways:
Printed paper report card given to students to take home and
Digital report card delivered via email. (The parent/guardian that is listed as a student’s first contact in PowerSchool will receive the email.)
Both delivery methods will continue with the interim and final report cards for the reminder of the school year. For the 2022-2023 school year, we hope to be able to offer parents the ability to opt-out of a printed paper copy.
Families needing to update their contact information in PowerSchool may do so on the CCPS website.
Laptops Reminders
- Get in a good habit of charging the laptops overnight.
- Shut the laptop down regularly. Automatic updates happen frequently.
- Loaner are available to students with laptops out for repair (many parts are backordered).
- Loaners are not available to students that forget their laptops. Please be responsible.
- Practice good privacy measures with loaners. Make sure you sign the appropriate laptop in and out, close all apps, logout properly, and shut it down before charging.
- Use the laptops appropriately. Using it for messaging or inappropriate content can result in losing your laptop privileges.

WILDCATS IN ACTION!
Contact Tracing Update (as of March 2, 2022)
Based on updated guidance from the CDC and the Maryland Department of Health, universal contact tracing is no longer needed in settings such as schools. Positive individuals in any setting are advised to notify their close contacts. CCPS will continue to implement isolation and quarantine protocols as outlined by the local health department. We will also continue to notify the local health department when a student or staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. When an outbreak is identified, as with any infectious illness, we will follow our usual processes of contact tracing and quarantine accordingly.
For more information, please visit COVID-19 Info & Dashboard on the CCPS website.

Edmentum/Exact Path Update
We have partnered with Edmentum again this year utilizing Exact Path and their
Academic Coaches to monitor, guide and support your students in closing learning gaps
and increasing their growth in Math, Reading and/or Language Arts. Parents of
students who were recommended for the program have received an email and phone
call from Exact Path (Edmentum) Academic Coaches and are asked to complete an info
session in order for your student to start using the program. You can schedule this
session by emailing the Academic Coaches ExactPathTutoring@CCPS.org.
