Pi Day 2014
Desert Sage Elementary School
Pi Day at Desert Sage
4th-6th grade students will participate in hands-on, interactive lessons to learn all about Pi and other geometry concepts. Students will start out in a Kick-off assembly and then move through rotations taught by 4th-6th grade teachers.
All students (K-6) are invited to join our Pi Day Family Pi-cnic on the playground. Students will enjoy their lunch and pies. (Guests must bring their lunch from home. Students may bring lunch or purchase from the cafe.)
Participation for K-3rd is decided by each teacher.
Donations
Please send in your store bought pie donations on 3/13/14 (Thursday) so we can plan accordingly. We prefer that you donate Hostess Fruit Pies since they are individually wrapped.
If you bring a whole pie, please help us by cutting into 8-10 slices. Donations will be accepted in the office. We would also appreciate your donations of forks, plates and napkins
