Internal & External Forces
Spreading, Accretion, Subduction, Faulting.
Accreartion
The accumulation of land mass.
Subduction
Movement of the earths crusts beneath mantle plates.
Spreading
Spreading is a process that occurs at mid-ocean ridges, where new oceanic crust is formed through volcanic activity and then gradually moves away from the ridge. Seafloor spreading helps explain the continental drift in the theory of plate tectonics.
Volcanoes
a mountain or hill, typically conical, having a crater or vent through which lava, rock fragments, hot vapor, and gas are being or have been erupted from the earth's crust.
What causes Volcanoes
Spreading
Earth Quake
A sudden and violent shaking of the ground, sometimes causing great destruction, as a result of movements within the earth's crust or volcanic action.
Erosion
The process of eroding or being eroded by wind, water, or other natural agents.
Weathering
wear away or change the appearance or texture of (something) by long exposure to the air.
