- Mammalian
- Have patterned fur; black dots
- Height ranges form 107 to 136 cm.
- Males typically weigh between 32 and 75 kg.
- Females usually weigh 25-43 kg.
Habitat
- Usually live near mountains
- Usually live where prey is abundant
- Live on rocky slopes during the winter
Adaptations
- Protection: Claws and fangs
- Structures: Fur, tail, teet, spotted coat, claws
- Behaviors: They live in places with a lot of prey
- Obtaining food: Claws and fangs
- Other behaviors: They hunt individually
Food Chain
- Eat roe deer, wild boar, sika deer, musk deer, badgers, hares
- Hunt in parts of Russia, China, and Korea
