Live Schoology Webinar-The Elements of Elementary -Creating Materials for PK-5



In this course, participants explore innovative ways to use Schoology Materials with students from Pre-K through 5th Grade. We’ll learn how to create engaging, multimedia lessons that allow for differentiation and effective instruction by using Schoology as the main hub for technology in the classroom. Participants will gain an understanding of the available communication and collaboration tools to enhance Schoology use.

Expected Outcomes

  • -Apply best practices for using Schoology with Elementary students for instruction and assessment.
  • -Leverage audio/video functions and visual anchors throughout Schoology.
  • -Use Schoology to support small group, whole group and independent activities.

Live Schoology Webinar-Using Schoology Portfolios

Participants in this course will learn how to create, edit, and share a Schoology Portfolio. Throughout the session, the instructor will review a variety of portfolios that highlight both student and educator applications. Sample rubrics for portfolio evaluation will also be shared. Ultimately those enrolled in this course will learn how Schoology Portfolios provide students and educators with the ability to quickly and easily collect, organize, summarize, and share their work and accomplishments with others

  • -Explain the benefits of using Portfolios in education.
  • -Create, edit, and share Portfolios in Schoology.
  • -Train others on best practices for using the Portfolio component in Schoology.
