I continue to be amazed at the warm, caring environment created by the staff, students, and families of Robert Frost and Challenge Center. From the kind messages children and families sent staff for Thanksgiving, to the generosity of students as they bring in canned and boxed items for the food drive, to our PTO who create amazingly fun and meaningful events for our school, to the staff who work tirelessly well into the evenings and weekends for their students, our learning community is filled with HEART. People have shared with me firsthand that it "just feels good" to walk into our school. In fact, there are substitute teachers who choose to sub exclusively at Robert Frost and Challenge Center because of the positive environment! Thank you for all you do to help create such a warm, caring place for our children, staff, and families.
I also want to extend a plea for help in regards to creating a safe environment for our students. Please help us with the following:
1) Drop off children in the drop-off/pick-up area or, if dropping children off from the street, pull over to the curb so they can walk on the sidewalk.
2) Please refrain from stopping in the middle of the street to drop off your children and asking them to use the street as a sidewalk.
3) Pull ALL THE WAY UP when using the drop-off/pick-up area. This will help to keep the flow moving and prevent, or at least lessen, traffic jams.
THANK YOU for your help in keeping the city's BEST STUDENTS safe!
