October 5, 2017
Dear Colts,
What a short yet full week at CMS! Tonight CMS staff and students have various events going on like volleyball games, our band fall social, and the 6th grade demo choir concert all in one night. Tonight's schedule is a perfect example of the steady stream of activity for secondary campuses such as CMS. We will continue to find ways to capture and involve as many students as possible and are thankful for the many staff members that put in extra time beyond the academic school day to invest in our students. As a reminder, our students are off tomorrow and Monday. We hope all of our Colts enjoy their four-day weekend!
BEST,
David Arencibia, Ed.D.

CMS, did you know?
Excerpt from a parent email received this past week:
"One of the reasons we made the official move to Colleyville is so they [children] could get the most from an exceptional district... The way she [teacher] lets these kids really learn the material and improve their grade is absolutely the best teaching I have ever seen. I LOVE her [teacher] for caring so much for (my child). The smile on (my child's) face when he fixes his mistakes is the best thing I have seen in years...
Quote from the feedback on Thought Exchange:
They [students] should all feel included by all of the teachers and staff! Students should never feel like they are not as important as other students in any area of the school.
School success Teachers should build relationships with students and targeted learning that benefits each student.
