Hello Tiger Families,

As we get into this week before Thanksgiving, we would like to thank you for all of your support this school year! If you would like to send a personalized thank you to your student’s teachers, the easiest way to do this is by creating a Teacher Achieving Excellence or T.A.E. submission. This is done by going to Parent Access Center, clicking on “Communication”, and then “Teacher/Staff Excellence”. You then have the option of selecting the teacher or staff member’s name. The message that you send will go directly to the staff member.

Remember Montgomery County Food Bank has resources available for families. If you are in need of assistance, or if you would like to help families in need, then please utilize the following link to access their resources:

Here are a few updates and reminders:

Student Safety

Our number one priority is to keep our students safe at Conroe High School. Please parents, remind your children they are not allowed to leave campus for lunch. If your child walks to school, please remind them to use the cross- walk at a light. If your child is a car rider, please drop them off and pick them up in the car rider line, not HWY 105 or area businesses.

CHS9 After School Walkers

If you have students who walk toward Home Depot after school, please be aware that due to the construction occurring just past the Social Security office a portion of the sidewalk has been removed. Please remind your students to be extra cautious walking this way.

CHS9 - Car Riders

Out of concern for the safety of our students we ask that you not stop on Sgt. Ed Holcomb and let students out. Please pull through the front of the school.

Conroe Tiger Christmas Craft Fair

DECA, along with Student Council and AVID, are hosting a craft fair on Saturday, December 3rd from 9 AM to 2 PM in our cafeteria and front foyer area. We are reaching out and inviting you to be a vendor if you own a business, and to share this with anyone who might have a company that takes part in craft fairs. Please fill out this application if you would like a space.

Vendor spots range from $50-$65 only! An approval notification will be sent out to all vendors approved through email and text. When approved, directions on how to pay will be sent. If you have any questions please contact Katheryne Hinze -

Seniors and Parents/Guardians of Seniors

There is a graduation requirement you must complete in order for you to graduate this school year. Seniors must complete one of the following:

  • Complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); OR

  • Complete and submit a Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA); OR

  • Complete and submit a signed opt-out form provided by the school district.

If you have any questions about this graduation requirement please contact our College and Career Counselor, Jessica Beckham.

As the weather turns cooler, this is a reminder that students can not wear blankets while in the building. Any blankets brought to school should be placed in backpacks. If we have students that do not have coats or jackets, they may utilize the Communities in Schools programs on campus to help supply students with clothing needs.

Vape Detectors

Vape Detectors are active on both campuses: Be advised, campus restrooms are equipped with vape detectors. Students caught in possession of a vape device or under the influence may face severe disciplinary consequences, which may include, ISS/OSS, DAEP and/or expulsion to JJAEP pending an investigation. Please discuss the danger and consequences of vaping with your child.

(*Liquid THC is considered a felony controlled substance . Students caught with a vape device that tests positive for THC could receive a state felony charge, be arrested on campus, and face mandatory expulsion.)

Important Information For Freshmen

CHS9 Car Riders:

If you bring your student to school by vehicle, then please remember that the traffic loop in front of the Ninth Grade Campus contains two lanes. Vehicles can utilize the inside lane (left lane) to help alleviate traffic. When our duty personnel see students getting out of the vehicle from the left lane, we will stop traffic in the right lane allowing your student to cross safely. Please remind your student to check traffic before getting out of the vehicle. Parents, please continue to drive slowly and safely in the student drop-off area. We appreciate your attention to safety and patience every day.
