Superintendent's Update
October 1, 2021
To the CCPS Community:
We are officially one month into the school year! As we make our way through this first semester, we will continue to identify how we can best support students and their individual learning needs. We know that their learning experiences have been far from typical since March 2020.
On Wednesday, we celebrated the ribbon-cutting of the new Manual Machining/CNC Programming & Operations program at the School of Technology. I would like to give a BIG thank you to the members of the CCPS Maintenance & Operations staff who did an amazing job of having the space ready to go for our students, including painting, electric work, HVAC, and equipment installation. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to TRAK Machine Tools and W.L. Gore & Associates for their generous donation of equipment to this program.
I remain so very thankful for the support of the Cecil County community.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey A. Lawson, Ed.D.
