Trix Academy Scholars!
Welcome to the second half of the school year!
Message from Principal Perkins
Good evening Trix Families,
NWEA Testing is still up and moving. This week scholars will be taking their MATH Assessment. I am asking parents to make sure your scholar is in school everyday, especially during our Winter Testing Season. Please inform the school if your scholar will be out.
All parents should have received your LiveSchools log in. Please log in and monitor your schools rewards throughout the day. This is a great way to keep you inform of your scholars behavior daily.
Our Re-enrollment Window is open. Please save your seat!! Spots will be filling soon for the 2023-2024 school year.
Lastly, social media is a great way for families to stay informed on all the cool things happening at Trix Academy. If you have not done so please follow us on FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please see the flyer below.
Let's WIN THE WEEK!!!

LiveSchools
What is LiveSchools? LiveSchools is our school-wide behavior management system. It will be used to monitor and document all student behavior. Students will receive points for positive and negative behaviors delayed at school. For example, students will receive negative points if and when they are absent or tardy.
Parents can access LiveSchools anytime they want to see student activity. On Tuesday, January 24th, parent access code information was sent home with your student. Please make sure you download the app and access and monitor your child's progress. If you did not receive your information or if you have any questions, please let Ms. Hayes know.
Attendance
Parents, attendance and arriving on time daily is highly important for the academic success of your scholar. Showing up to school everyday and on time can help students develop the habit of being punctual, it illustrates to them a commitment to their learning/education and helps them develop friendships and helps reduce classroom interruptions and distractions for all students.
The likelihood of your child's success in learning is strongly linked to a strong participation in school and learning, which is linked to coming to school daily and arriving on time. It is very important for children to develop habits of arriving on time at an early age, beginning from the time they start school until they graduate.
Please help establish good routines with your child that consist of coming to school daily and ontime. Once those routines have been established, watch the academic success and growth that you will see in them. WINNiNG!!!
