What Does It Mean To Be A Title I School?

Title I is the largest federal aid program for public schools. Schools can be designated as “Title I” if certain criteria are met. Title I is the federal government’s commitment to closing the achievement gap between low-income and moderate to high income students. How We Implement Title Funds at Harris

Wow, what a fast summer break! My name is John Kim and I am the new behavior specialist at Harris Elementary. I wanted to first thank our title committee in giving me this opportunity to be the behavior specialist at Harris Elementary. As the behavior specialist, my job would consist of supporting and collaborating with educators and students to create a school environment that increases student engagement and achievement. In addition, my goal is to increase family engagement and create additional opportunities on campus this year. If you have any questions or concerns about my role at Harris Elementary, please feel free to contact me any time.
