What's Up in the Tech World
This may be the last newsletter for this school year.....
It is hard to believe we are approaching the end of school. I saw some really fun resources that I am sharing this week. Classroomscreen.com is a super cool website that can function as your desktop when you are presenting. It has a whole selection of buttons across the bottom of the screen. There is a random name generator, just enter your roster and it will randomly select from the list. There is a calculator, a QR code generator that then shows it on the screen so your students can scan it, a drawing tool, a text tool, a set of work symbols, a traffic light, a timer, and a clock. I am definitely going to be using this next year. I also included a link to information about Vizia which is a way to insert questions into a video. If you have videos you require your students to watch, you can insert questions that they are required to answer to check for understanding. The teacher receives the results in a spreadsheet so that the results could be used as an assessment or just a verification that they watched. You could also differentiate your lesson based on responses.'
This is a busy week with all sorts of activities. I will be at Lower Campus Wednesday morning for a bit and possibly Tuesday morning. Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with as you wrap up the year.
