Weekly Dolphin Blast

Week of January 29, 2023

Hello Dolphin Families,

As I reflect on last week, I am filled with pride as I think about the countless acts of kindness that our students demonstrated. This week in class meetings, students will be asked to share the impact that acts of kindness had on them. It is our hope that our students have learned the impact that the smallest act of kindness can have on another person. If you were able to attend our Friday Flag Salute this past Friday, I hope you had the opportunity to read some of the hearts students designed during lunch last week!

Our new lunch sorting program is well underway and students have done an excellent job learning how to sort their materials at the end of lunch and recess. We have some Dolphins on our campus who are passionate about this new program and helping our environment. These students have given up their play time to help other students with the sorting process. The student leadership on our campus is inspiring!

The first semester is coming to a close and as we review midyear assessment data, we are thrilled to see the great gains our students are making!

With Dolphin pride,

Mrs. Bedard

Parent Ed Night: Increasing and Connection and Regulation in Your Home (and why that's sometimes a struggle)

The social emotional needs of our students has remained a priority for our school this year. Just as our students and staff being unique strengths to our LCM community, so do our parents! LCM Parent and Director of Brain Highways, Kiley Wheel, has graciously offered to donate her time to lead a valuable parent education opportunity for our families. Please see the attached flyer for more information. This is an opportunity you don't want to miss out on!
