Book Drive - October 14-22
Book Drive kicking off Thursday, October 14th at the Book Fair.
Collecting new and gently used books to be donated to Cradles to Crayons.
*No family, religious or holiday books can be accepted.
Who doesn't love a little friendly competition?
Get excited for our contest between grades to see which grade can donate the most books! Book donation boxes will be at the book fair on October 14th (look for your grade level box) and at each grade level entrance from October 15th-22nd.
The winning grade will be announced October 25th on the morning announcements and classrooms will receive a prize.
Spirit Wear-Delivered Soon
Thank you to everyone who ordered Spirit Wear this year! If you ordered Spirit Wear through B Friends, it has been delivered to the Spirit Wear Committee. They are hard at work sorting all the orders. Please look for your Spirit Wear to come home with your child early next week.

Fun Lunch Parent Volunteering is Back!
We are seeking one parent volunteer per day to help support the Fun Lunch Program together with Marla's Fun Lunch staff (11am-12:30pm daily). This a great opportunity to see your child for a quick hug AND help the school!
**Volunteers most needed on Thursdays (Pizza Days)**

LMC Volunteers - New Times Available
NEW slots have opened up for shelving books in the LMC.
Please take a look at the sign up sheet for a time that works for you -- and remember to check what day your child comes to the LMC or STEAM; maybe you can overlap! If you need a different time frame, sign up and then email KerriMadura@gmail.com to discuss flexibility.

The 2021-2022 yearbook is a memory keeping, moment in time for the students. Consider submitting your photos so we can make sure EVERYBODY is included!

Joining a meeting allows the chance to learn about what's happing in the school; and also provides an opportunity to give your input and ask questions of Dr. Faust, Mrs. Gruenwald, and the PTO board members.

Celebration Books
Purchasing celebration books not only supports the PTO, but is also a wonderful way to remember a special event, celebrate a child's accomplishments, honor a teacher/staff member, AND enhance the Learning Media Commons (LMC/Library).

PTO Directory & Membership
The South Park PTO website is your one-stop PTO shop for membership dues/directory, announcements, spirit wear, volunteer opportunities, etc.
Buying the optional $25 membership for our PTO will allow you access to our mobile/online directory. It also is our largest fundraiser for the teachers and the school.
