ThunderRidge Weekly Update
March 3, 2023
Patterson's Perspective
Grizzly Families,
It was a great week at ThunderRidge as our school came together for Grizzly Gives. Our student government did an awesome job putting on a variety of events to raise money for the families we are assisting through Caruso Family Charities. We kicked things off with the Unified Basketball game Monday night and will end the week with our Sadie Hawkins Dance here at the school tonight. Next Tuesday will be the Grizzly Gives Assembly where we will learn how much we raised and present the families with a check. Thank you to our student body and community for participating in the events this week to support such a great cause.
Next week is our last week before we head into Spring Break, a well deserved break for our students and staff. It is also the end of the third quarter, which means we only have 9 weeks of school left. Please continue to monitor your students' progress and make sure they are using the academic supports we have in place at TRHS to set them up for success.
Have a great weekend and thank you all for your support.

ThunderRidge Activity Highlights
🐻 TR had a great showing at DECA state. Maddie Meyers and Aaryan Ramrakhani took 3rd place in thier category while Romy Ramrakhani, Kaitlyn Holmberg, Elena Marchena, and Reid Solomon all placed in the top 14 in the state in their categories and are on the alternates list for nationals.
🐻 The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national organization focusing on growth and leadership pathways for students in technology and engineering. One of its goals is to help prepare students for entering the workforce by providing additional skills in a fun and exciting environment while at the same giving them access to companies and industries to help them achieve their goals. At ThunderRidge we have a focus on allowing students to explore areas that they are passionate about and allow them to compete against other students throughout Colorado. This year we had 35 students compete at the State Leadership Conference in a wide variety of events including fashion design, bio technology, architecture, mines formula, structural engineering, on demand video, photography, catapult design, and several others. Our students did an incredible job representing our school and took 1st place in webmaster, and with podium finishes in mines formula, catapult design, and drone design.
Congratulations to Our Staff of the Month
