Cook With Miss Cara!

Gather the family and join preschool nutrition facilitator Cara Ortiz for another live cooking demonstration as she prepares Chocolate Strawberries from Grow It, Try It, Like It! This is a simple (and delicious!) recipe that preschoolers will love helping with. Feel free to turn on your video during the call to interact and ask questions, or leave your sound and video off and watch like a cooking show.

Join the live Zoom call on Thursday, February 25th at 5:30pm:

Berry Bounce! (adapted from Grow It, Try It, Like It!™)

Active play and movement are important for every child's growth and development, and Berry Bounce is a fun way for kids to move their bodies! Show your child pictures of (or have them try!) strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Explain that they will be acting out each berry in a Berry Bounce! Each type of bounce can be done for 20-30 seconds or longer, and repeated several times at once or throughout the day.
