FPS Testing Program End of Year Info
The last of the iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test kits were distributed to students on Friday, June 10. This was the last biweekly distribution of this school year.
The last distribution of iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test kits for staff will be on Friday, June 17, 2022.
Test kits will be available during the summer program to symptomatic students and staff only. If you are looking for additional at-home Test Kits, a limited number of test kits can also be ordered for free from the USPS website (they will be delivered to your home).
Some of your iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test kits will expire shortly. The U. S. Food and Drug Administration has extended the expiration dates for another three months. You can use this link to determine your iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test kit’s new expiration date.
Continue to Monitor for COVID Symptoms & Test
We continue to recommend staff members and caregivers monitor for symptoms of COVID. We encourage staff members to stay home and families to keep your children home when feeling sick with symptoms of COVID. Many of the symptoms of COVID are very similar to seasonal allergy symptoms. Please do not assume these symptoms are allergies. Instead, we urge you to test as indicated.
You can be tested for COVID through your health care provider/pediatrician’s office, Project Beacon located at Saint Tarcisius Parish, or use an At-Home Rapid Antigen Test.
