The Nile River

The Nile RIver is the largest river in the entire world! But, that's not all it has to offer. You can go horseback riding, go on a village walk, and there are even volunteer opportunities. The Nile River crosses over 8 countries and helps generate hydroelectric power.

Great Rift Valley

The Great RIft Valley is a geological fault system. You're able to go sight seeing, have picnics in small islands, and visit museums! SInce erosion has leveled a lot of the cliffs, there are still some that are pretty high.

Kalahari Desert

The Kalahari Desert is known for being covered in red sand. If you were to visit, you might want to stop by and go on an exciting safari. It also has many dry lake beds.

Serengeti Plain

The Serengeti Plain has some of the best grassland in central and east africa. You can go on safaris, on a hot air balloon too! The Serengeti also has a wildlife refuge.
