Having a dictator is usually negative. But sometimes can be beneficial. One way is that you'll always have a stable government. The dictator can make decisions in the peoples best interest. He/She also may have the higher expertise and make better decisions then what the people would . On the other hand a dictatorship can turn out horrible. The dictator can punish the people, make laws and rules unjust and just create hell for the people. They can cause a lot of violence if they don't make wise decisions.
