Verbs

By Kennedy Higdon

Why verbs are important.

The most important part of speech is verbs. Verbs are action words. They are the most important part of speech because it tells you what you are doing. If a verb is missing in a sentence the sentence would not make sense. There are three types of verbs, past, present, and future tense. Past tense verbs are what you were doing, present tense verbs are what you are doing, and future tense verbs are what you will be doing.
