Barrell Racing is complex rodeo event where a horse and rider attempt to complete a cloverleaf pattern around 3 barrels. This event is mostly a sport for women though at the youth level boys and girls may compete. The average barrel racer's salary per year is about $48,000. To barrel race the only education you really need is that you know how to take care of horses and know how to barrel race.

A Barrel Racer's Daily Tasks
When you barrel race professionally each day your routine is somewhat like this. First you wake up take a shower,brush your teeth and hair ,and eat breakfast. Then you go to the stables feed the horses brush them down and sometimes you bath them. Then you saddle one and you practice for a minimum of 5 hours a day then you go to sleep. The next day you get up and do it all over again.
