Type 1 Diabetes info

Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed in children and young adults, and was previously known as juvenile diabetes. Only 5% of people with diabetes have this form of the disease. Diabetes affects every part of my body, from my eyes to my toes, and it can lead to serious complications, like kidney failure

You should ask for help

You don’t need you to tell me what I should and should not be eating, or what medications I need to take, or how much weight I need to lose, or how I need to lose it. I’ve been living with this condition for a while so I know what to do to manage it – and when I have a question, I ask my doctors.

We can help cure it today
